Plot: George & Kathy Lutz and Kathy’s 3 children are moving into an elegant Long Island home. No sooner are the Lutzes moved into the house than they begin seeing horrible things – the ghost of Jodie DeFeo, horribly disfigured bodies – and hearing ghostly voices throughout the house. George seems to notice it the most, and it isn’t long before he becomes a danger to those around him. When the local priest, called in to bless the house, comes charging out in horror after being swarmed by flies, he issues a dire warning to Kathy – ‘Leave that house’. i dont wanna wach any movies earlier than yr 2000, and i have seen all freddy movies and friday 13 and amityville and most new releases. im just looking for one that s not so obvious. everytime i ask the most answers i get are ones that almost everyone in the world has already seen. i am a huge horror movie fan and i am trying to find one i havnt seen yet, so i guess the question is: what is your fav horror movie that you think a big horror movie goer ma not have seen but wont be too hard to find. sorry if i am being difficult. and thanks in advance.

Try 28 Days Later. New spin on zombies and it was pretty entertaining all the way through. Or Black Sheep, if you’re into the weirder, campy horror movies.

Saw was pretty intense. Well the first two…then it just got bizarre. I found saw scary because it was more believable like it could be something that could happen rather then zombies. The newer Dawn of the dead was kinda scary too.

Limiting yourself to movies post-2000 is a horrible idea, especially in the horror genre. Your best bet is to go back to the late 60’s early 70’s when people were actually coming out with "original" ideas. Of course they don’t seem that original now, since hollywood has to run everything into the ground with remakes and sequels and just plainly dumbing everything down. Try the Shining, that’s a good start. Maybe the ORIGINAL Dawn of the Dead (nothing against the new one, it was pretty bad-ass for a remake. Thank you Mr. Snyder). You want a truly horrifying experience? Watch Twilight ;)

old world war 2 movies.?
has it ever occured to you alot of old ww2 films from 40s-70’s were well…not AUTHENTIC. im talking like movies like battle of the bulge, devils brigade, To hell and back-even though that had a good story…Bridge on the River Qwai or however you spell it, the Japanese in it had sten guns and vickers machine guns….not exactly true there either.

Movies that arent authentic get on my nerves. some people don’t care, or maybe they don’t even know that the vehicles and equipment used in movies are american??? Who knows but id have to say prolly some of the more authentic movies in those period were Battle of Britain, Bridge at Remagen, The Great Escape, Where Eagles Dare..and so forth. let me know if theres any other reall good authentic movies from those time periods. cause im trying to find some that have german/japanese/italian equipment.

oh and also i have already seen von ryans express, tora tora tora, cross of iron, the eagles have landed…so cross those off the list.

I dont recall the sten guns in bridge over the river kwai…I do recall the vickers, and part of the japanese sentries are carrying SMLE’s however the japanese did capure a lot of british materials in burma and singapore and reissue it to rear units,prison details and second line troops (they did the same thing with captured dutch weapons in the east indies and US weapons in the phillipines ) the japanese (and even the germans to a lesser extent) didnt waste any captured weapons ,so the weapons were possibly semi-correct,but by accident only.. the errors in movies like bridge over river kwai (or getting it right accidently maybe) were caused by movie studios using what they had,rather than worrying about what was correct,most older films they didnt have the correct stuff so improvised, even great war movies,most of the japanese planes ,arent,they just repainted american planes as there werent enough japanese ones that survived to make a beginning on a movie with.Watch any old,or even new movie with a historic plot and know anything about the time its set in and you’ll see horrible flaws..Braveheart,saving private Ryan, the last samurai, and enemy at the gates all come to mind as having issues historically or weapon wise..and all the old westerns had major issues,How many civil war era movies show everyone carrying solid frame colt SAA’s or winchester rifles? the old "combat" series wasnt great shows, but showed a lot of neat german equippment, and the recent "letters from iwo jima" was about the best yet for showing the japanese forces somewhat accurately..movies are about telling a story, not teaching a history lesson,and the weapons or what happens doesnt need to be historically accurate to make a good tale,as a major history buff and weapons collector I find it best if I take any "historic" or "based on a true event" movie as just entertainment and not dwell to much on the flaws or it just ruins the movie..I doubt theres ever been one made that didnt have logistic issues if you really study it.

ive been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a little over 7 months now and everything has moved very fast. i love him so much and would do anything for him but it wasnt always like that. i have always had it in my mind that all guys cheat at some point or can never do right by a girl so i figured that i would just settle. i basically trained myself not to care if they did wrong that way i would never get hurt. i have low self esteem and im very insecure but he loved me for who i was and i didnt know how to respond to that. there had been a guy that i had been waiting for to tell me he had feelings for me for years and he finally did and when he did i was confused on what to do and this also happend to be a time where me and my boyfriend were fighting every day so i broke up with him and told him everything and it broke his heart. but he didnt give up and he fought for me. and thats when i realized maybe he wasnt like everyone else and i feel so much pain for the agony i caused him and now this its to the point that i will do anything to get the love he had for me back. we are still together but everything is so different cuz he is protecting himself from getting hurt again by not letting me in. he doesnt have that twinkle in his eye when he sees me or he never kisses me like he used to and our sex life has changed for the worse. now its to the point where im doing whatever i can to show him im sorry and do whatever he asks to make sure hes happy. but whenever i think about what i did i cry uncontrollably. all the time. every day. and i think its because i can see how before we would sit up and talk for hours where now we just sit in silence. all the changes scare me that im losing him. and the only way i know how to stop crying is to draw the pain somewhere else and thats by cutting. ive even thought about suicide. i feel worthless and like im just causing everyone pain and taking up space and im scared that i might do something to end up hurting myself and everyone else way worse. whats wrong with me and what should i do?

"American Idol" producers are eager to hire Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell as the show’s tough-talking judge, sources tell Page Six.

An insider said that producers of the hit Fox show say Stern, America’s highest-paid radio personality, is their top choice to take over from Cowell, who leaves at the end of this season. They approached the King of All Media after he repeatedly mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January and he was open to other offers. Cowell was paid $50 million a year.

A source connected to "Idol" said, "It’s one of the few shows that could compete with Stern’s $100 million-a-year Sirius contract, and ‘Idol’ bosses think he’d be even nastier than Simon.

"They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants. ‘Idol’ will do what it takes to sign him."

But a second source told us Stern hasn’t made the "Idol" talks easy, and has been giving out mixed messages about his intentions.

"Despite what he’s been saying on-air, Howard isn’t ready to leave radio and would like to stay on at Sirius," the source said. "We believe this is a ploy to make Sirius pay up and keep him on his huge contract. But if Sirius can’t pay him the money he wants, he may negotiate to film ‘Idol’ on the side."

Stern is also believed to be reluctant to commit to a show that would require him to tour the US as a judge and spend much of the year in Los Angeles.

He recently said, somewhat cryptically, "I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year — and I did turn it down . . . I’m not even sure if I want to be working. I’m waiting to see what happens."

Calls to Stern’s agent and producer were not returned. A rep for FOX declined to comment.

I think what people are missing here is that neither Howard Stern or Ellen DeGeneres are really qualified to judge a singing contest. Clearly the producers of the show don’t care, and that might be why Simon is gone. Mean as he might be, the dude knows what he’s talking about.

How do you cure fog brain?
My thoughts and memories can be described as fog. I don’t remember my childhood, there are just things I know about it. I have trouble remembering anything unless it has to do with numbers, unless the numbers are written words. And I have to memorize stuff for college. It takes weeks when other students study for a day. I have no problem understanding concepts, my memory’s just hazy.

What’s wrong? How can I cure this?

There may be a big thing or stress going on right now in your life. When that passes, hopefully your memory can come back.

help me please..I like him?
I take only night classes and in one of my classes, there is this one guy that I like. Honestly, this guy is not usually the type of guy i would date but from the first day i saw him, i noticed he was staring at me and i wanted to know what this was about. The first day of class, we all had to introduce ourselves to the class and me being, very shy and nervous constantly, i just said my name and where i was from and the music i liked. So after class, this man(his older than the average college kid) came up to me and was asking me about my country, and how his friend went there and he was telling him about how beautiful it was. So I noticed this guy all the way in the front waiting to talk to the teacher and i was standing in the back of the class about to leave while the man approached me, so this cutie in the front of the class, turned around and he was staring at me…so i smiled at him and completely forgot about what the man was asking me.

Sadly this class is only once a week, but it is four hours. So i get to see the guy that i like once a week, but there is this annoying dude, that i think everyone hates because the class is really quiet and he is the one that always talks, he has a really loud, annoying voice. But he likes me, he always bothers me and asks me where i am from, when i have told him a million times, but i am nice to him because i noticed that he and the guy that i like are friends…so i thought good… maybe this will work-out.

The second week of class, i got to class earlier and the cute guy i like came and sat next to me, so i’m liking this but the annoying guy sat on the other side of me and i was pissed. But after class, the guy i liked waited for me and walked me out.

So far this is our fourth class meeting out of the semester and i thought that annoying dude was a wing-man to the guy i like but unfortunately he likes me and I can’t stand him. I notice that everytime the guy i like try to seat next to me in class, that annoying dude willl rush to seat next to me. I was smiling and being nice to him because i really thought that the guy i like would use him to get to talk to me, because i am super shy and i notice the guy i like he is too, and since the annoying guy, which is his friend is very outspoken, i figured this would not be a problem.

I think the annoying guy is a pig, he is a little too blunt about certain things, and it annoys me, and he always ask "am I annoying?" and im trying to be nice so i tell him no. but i think i need to put him in his place because we were all working in groups, (me, the guy i like, the annoying guy and another random guy) and the teacher made us discuss a manifesto about how women were potrayed back in the day in our groups" and the annoying guy’s content was so explicit..and i was so shocked because he was disrespecting women and i was sitting right there, so obviously he has no manners.

Then he called me "baby" during class today and it took me a minute to realize that is what he said and i kinda looked at him like …..what? then i smiled and ignored him because the cutie was looking at me, and he is like hitting my hand and i’m like giving him these looks like "Dude wtf?" because i did not want to embarrass him because his friend and the guy i like was sitting right there in front of us…

I really like the guy but i know nothing about him, he has the sexiest eyes and i want to compliment him but i am too shy and do not know what he might say…..I want to get rid of that annoying guy…

But i think the guy that i like was really interested in me, but since that annoying guy is acting like a dog and always rushing to seat next to me…i guess his interests is fading and i don’t want it to. Sometimes i will catch him staring at me… earlier my teacher was late and we were all waiting outside the class and when i got there, both of the boys were already there but after a few seconds i noticed my cutie came and stand next to me. And i got all happy because there were so many places to stand and he stood next to me…

I think every class he is sending me clues that he likes me, but he is too shy to say something just like i am too shy to say anything to him, but that annoying guy always gets my smile because he talks to me more! but i don’t like him…he is annoying and he stinks……what should i do! I want to get to know him, because i know nothing about him, i don’t know if he has a girlfriend or anything.. and i really like him>?

My bet is our Version of godzilla. Godzilla final Wars was full of crap. Ours is so much faster, stronger, smarter, and agile, than the originals. and king kong is tiny compared to them, and Clover really can’t do much.

Toho’s Godzilla. He was the bomb.

And "Clover" from Cloverfield?….how dare u mention that weak and lame movie in the same sentence with Godzilla.

Her snobbish and arrogant daughter Andrea graduated in Economic Science and works in a construction corporation while her sister Pam stayed with Alice and worked in the bar.
