Were the World MineWere the World Mine (2008)

IMDB rating: 7.20

Plot: If you had a love-potion, who would you make fall madly in love with you? Timothy, prone to escaping his dismal high school reality through dazzling musical daydreams, gets to answer that question in a very real way. After his eccentric teacher casts him as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, he stumbles upon a recipe hidden within the script to create the play’s magical, purple love-pansy. Armed with the pansy, Timothy’s fading spirit soars as he puckishly imposes a new reality by turning much of his narrow-minded town gay, beginning with the rugby-jock of his dreams. Ensnaring family, friends and enemies in this chaos, Timothy forces them to walk a mile in his musical shoes. The course of true love never did run smooth; it’s a bumpy ride.

Rocky : LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I am about as atheist as a man can get. In fact, if god exists, i hate that sob for creating such a terrible world.

No, the killing of U.S. troops at Ft. Hood was not justified. Wow, you are obviously angry about something Juan. What has the United States ever done to you personally? Do you live in the United States?
John | Nov 12, 2009

how bout you find an american soldier or vet and say that to his face, and count on one hand how long it takes you to end up in a coma
alexander m | Nov 12, 2009

Then you will not have any problem with us exectuting your freak hero for attacking out of uniform.
waygoddoesthings | Nov 12, 2009

Once there were three little pigs…one built a house of straw, the US huffed and puffed and it fell
down, the pig ran off……the next built a house of twigs, the US huffed and puffed and it fell down, this pig ran off……the next built him a house of stone and the US invaded the house and turned the little aggravating thing into sausage and mince meat just as this piece of sh*t you are trying to make into a
hero is about to become!

You’re welcome.

I’m a veteran, and I’m damn proud to have served to protect your right to your opinion, even if it is something like this.

You don’t like it? You can always move somewhere else.
Mutt | Nov 12, 2009

Are you a proud Muslim bigot? If you hate America so much, why don’t you leave?
Rocky | Nov 12, 2009

No, you are correct for stating that the US has intervened in many many places where it should not have, and that is of course only a partial list.

However, the reason why it is not justified is because of this:
Even though the United States gets involved in places it may or may not have the right to, the killing and injuring of less than 100 people is certainly not going to influence foreign policy makers to stop "gallyvanting" across the world. It was merely a drop in the bucket from a non-biased point of view.
Jack | Nov 12, 2009

Who gave you the freedom and the technology to go on this rant? Your info is biased and you question is no real question just an opening line for your rant. Your list is incomplete and is simply a list of times that our military has been used wether justified or not. Wether internal or not. Wether invited or not. You site Puerto Rico as being occupied it is not under occupation, it was annexed. It has since become an honored and respected territory of this great country. Your list ends a little short, too. You mention a response to an American plane shot down where we showed our teeth but did not use force. What would you have done, planted a garden? Panama? How many of those years was it a US territory should we allow civil unrest within what we consider our borders? Troops stationed in China? Our ally at the time against an enemy that attacked us.

You failed to make note of all the humanitarian missions we undertake as well. Don’t forget military R&D which has brought about a better standard of life for everyone on the planet. Your arguement is week. You should be thankful I took the time to answer you instead of just reporting your rant that goes against the rules of Yahoo answers.

Loser.
Big Chris | Nov 12, 2009

Your questions are hilarious! Dude, you are such a little bitch. Are you crying the whole time you post these?
WarChild! | Nov 12, 2009

AH, with every war, every conflict, every, civil upheaval and unrest, comes the civilians, that are too afflicted.

I personally joined my US Army as a Medic, and refused any other job. My hope, to be sent places, where people needed medical care. Civilians and children, ours and theirs. While you bring up many points in history, (note, HISTORY) where we intervened, and retaliated, stop to consider (not even agree, just consider) what happened to make us retaliate. Know this world is full of allies, and enemies. We protect our allies, as they would us, and we defend each other against the enemy. You speak of WW2, had we not sent bombs right back to Hiroshima, what would have happened to us? Perhaps we still would have been attacked. What would have happened to Europe? What would have happened to the innocent people who wanted to live their lives peacefully, but could not under the oppression of groups around the world? People who wanted power, and control?

While you look past the people who need help the most, the US tries not to. You rage against history in a time frame you probably were not even born in. That is like me being mad at whites for enslaving my black ancestors, i wasn’t alive, and i was not enslaved. Why make that my anger?

Perhaps one day, you will know what it is like, to give so much for someone you will never even meet.
Alexandrea | Nov 12, 2009

the fact that you can post this inane question proves your enjoying the freedoms our military have fought and died for.

Congrats Juan, you can copy and paste. Now provide me with something of sustenance, and then we will talk. If you take any country and look at the past two centuries you are going to find indiscretions. Please give me the name of your native land and I will show you your dirty and corrupt laundry. I would also like to see an educated response from you justifying how we are guilty for an act committed over a century ago. Are you responsible for something your country did 200 years ago? I am going to assume you will state NO, so explain to me articulately why we are responsible?

Yet, your agenda is clear. You hate Americans and America; why should I spend my time arguing with the likes of you with your mind is set? I am not wasting my education on you.
7 to go | Nov 12, 2009

You are using a computer and the internet to make your rant you little cockroach…which are both US inventions. And you are probably living in a country which is FREE because of US security…and judging by your name you probably have relatives strapping some inner-tubes together as we speak to float across the Rio Grande to get here…
ArmyChemo | Nov 12, 2009

Relax fellas… some people need an excuse for not trying to enlist.

"Ready, Willing , and Unable to Serve" Time Magazine 11-05-2009

"…75% of Americans ages 17 to 24 are ineligible to enlist
