At my wittsend! Don't know how to make my husband happy and Keep our future baby happy?
I’m really trying…

Basically me and my husband are some how on different pages… when it comes to the birth and breastfeeding of our baby.
I’d like to be at the Hospital, my husband wants a home birth. I told our midwife today I wanted to have the baby at the hospital which she said she supported whatever we chose. But she also reasured me since I’m not high risk, homebirth would likely go very soomthly. For me, it’s not about risk, though a bit of me thinks I’d be safer at a hospital for my first baby but more so, it’s the fact that we haven’t been able to find a house to buy that we really like and with 2 months to go I don’t know if it’s going to happen and giving birth in my mom’s house really isn’t something I feel like dealing with. She a little crazy and nurotic. I don’t want to have to tell her to leave me alone, or not to touch me, or that we have to worry about having to clean up after the baby comes. To me the hospital seems like less hassel.
For my husband it seems like not a big deal. "we’ll just tell her to leave"

On top of that, we have the constant argument that I want to breastfeed her as much as possible. He’d like to feed her by bottle with pumped breast milk at least once/twice a day.
I feel like I’m in a battle where neither of us understand each other. I don’t want to take anything away from him but he constantly tells me how I’ll only get to bond with her and how I get to do and go through everything. This part makes me mad.

I feel like i’m going through all this for the both of us and our baby and I don’t feel very appriciated that I am doing this. I want to have his babies and take care of them and him and still I feel like he resents it.
I think that pumping breast milk would be okay if I had to go to an appointment or something but not all the time. Not when I can just feed her when she wants instead of her crying and waiting for bottles to be steralized. It seems more convient.
He wants to do all this, and it makes me feel like maybe I should just give in and let him. Why is it worth a battle?
Do I just wait and see what happens? Or do I try to talk about again? Any Ideas? I’m at my witts end…

Also,
He’s pretty upset that I want it at the hospital even though he won’t admit it. He’s boiling over it inside and it makes me very emotional to think that’s happening. I’m finding this all very difficult, I never knew that Having a baby would make him so jealous or mad at me for things I find would make our life easier.

So should I let this go and do what he’d like? He does go to work for us everyday and I don’t like making him unhappy and he seems to be really hurt by all of it.
